Name Means: Mamoru means protector and Kusanagi means grass cutter or something along that line.
In case you havent noticed, Kusanagi is my favorite character from Blue Seed, even though he's a real jerk to Momiji (as far as I can tell). I mean, he is kinda perverted. He likes to look at her underwear when he's still in love with her twin sister. Talk about twisted. But hey, the fact that he has green hair, a sense of humour, blades that come out of his arms and huge shoulder pads makes up for his underwear problem. All I really know about Kusanagi and his matamas is that he has 7, unlike Murakumo who has all 8, and Momiji has the 8th. Later on in the show Momiji loses hers, I don't remember how, but Kusanagi gets it... I think that's the ep where he gets his arm cut off.... Which was a cool one! (If I'm totally off with this tell me! This is all from what I remember watching 2 years ago)
