From what I've seen of the show, and from what I can remember of that, Momiji is the scared little girl who loves Kusanagi. She's not as immature as everybody on the TAC team seems to realise. Sure, she tends to fall on her face and so what if she wears animal patterned underwear? Lots of girls do! It's the "in" thing to do! One thing that I like about Momiji is that no matter how scared she is, she'll always face her fears if her friends are in trouble. One of my favourite episodes of Blue Seed is the one where there's a dome that nobody can enter. But Kusanagi walks through it, and Momiji follows. (If I remember, it's because of their matamas or something that they could do this...) Inside, the city is overrun with cats; Arigami cats. Momiji runs around looking for Kusanagi, and when she finally finds him, she confesses her true feelings to him. But, when they leave the dome after defeating the main Arigami, Kusanagi doesn't remember anything. (I think that's how it went) Now, if Momiji were the girl that the TAC team seems to think she is, she would have never told Kusanagi how she felt, let alone enter the dome in the first place. Girl Power!
